LEARN ABOUT WATER

inside your fruits and vegetables.

Most fruits and vegetables are 80-95% water! GrowMax Water™ filtration systems ensure that you are using clean contaminant-free water in your garden.

FACT: Clean water
helps yield clean veggies.

The saying “you are what you eat” is more relevant than ever, especially when staying healthy in today’s polluted world is a priority. Recognizing that the food you grow in your garden uptakes the water you put on it, the importance of garden water filtration becomes quite clear.

LEARN ABOUT Volatile Compounds

found in your garden tap water.

Volatile organic compounds (VOCs) are emitted as gases from certain solids or liquids, especially chlorine.
VOCs include a variety of chemicals, some of which may have short-term and long-term adverse health effects. Once released into groundwater, many VOCs are persistent and can migrate to drinking water supplies. More than 500 different compounds have been found in drinking water The following is a p
artial list of contaminants (VOCs) found in tap/ground water:

Acetaldehyde

FACTS about chlorine and pesticides.

Chlorine is a toxic chemical disinfectant found in tap water. Chlorinated water can have negative effects on plants, flowers, fruits, and vegetables during their growing cycles. Eliminating chlorine from the water you use in your garden helps to ensure that you get the cleanest, strongest, and healthiest
plants possible.

LEARN ABOUT Chlorine

and how it can affect the health of your garden

Make sure your plants absorb the key nutrients they need by using clean chlorine-free water in your gardens’ delicate ecosystem.

The problem with ingesting chlorine:

Chlorine is a greenish-yellow gas with a strong smell, very similar to bleach. The pure form of chlorine is poisonous to humans, and can cause trouble breathing and irritation of the eyes and skin. While chlorine is the most commonly used disinfectant for drinking water, many of its by-products
are identified as potentially cancerous.

Garden water filtration is the solution.

According to the EPA, activated carbon is the most effective filter technology for removing chlorine, VOCs, and THMs (trihalomethanes).
Just four grams of activated carbon has the surface area equivalent of
a football field. It is this massive surface area that allows our filtration systems to be extremely effective in adsorbing (removing) contaminants
and other substances.
